ABOUT ME

We are Clarke and Fran and we are exploring Europe; the people, the culture, the food and the wine. We are both professionals from New Zealand who have quit our everyday lives to explore Europe and all its offerings. We are moving from place to place exploring the countries and enriching our lives with the great people that we have met on our journey. The more we see and the more people we meet, the more excited we get.

PHILOSOPHY

We both live life at 100% and take the most from all that we encounter.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We are new to couch surfing but we have spent some of our time volunteering through Helpx.net and staying with people via AirBnB. The thing that we enjoy most with this type of travel is that we are more than just a tourist, we a part of a family and a little society. It adds more to our lives than just hostels and museums.

Our first experience with AirBNB is to date our most memorable,having racklett for the first time with a Swiss /French man and spending hours just talking and drinking red wine. All our Couch-surfing experiences have been varied and interesting. Sometimes we cannot believe the generosity of people!

Currently travel books and we have hardly watched TV since we left New Zealand. Most of you have probably already seen our recent tourism video, Lord of the Rings. If your into NZ humour you should probably watch some 'Flight of the Concords' and we can recommend some other must see NZ films

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

One of many amazing experiences is travelling from France to South England at the start of September and crossing the channel on a yacht (not the train or ferry) is an experience that we will remember for a life time.

We like to learn to cook and we can help cook as well. We are learning lots of practical skills through helpx that will help us with life back at home.
