HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love San Francisco, but I've always been a nomad at heart, which has made settling into an apartment an interesting experience for me. As a compromise with myself I purposefully got the most comfortable couch I could find so that my living room could be a place where fellow nomads could get their bearings and retreat to quiet peace after a day of exploring this beautiful city.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to CS.org, but have been a couchsurfer and host for as long as I've been traveling on my own. I have backpacked or cycled across four of the world's major mountain ranges, and have always relied on the generosity of friends, family, and strangers to have a base from which to start and a couch to return to to rest and recover. In the spirit of giving back that which I take, I made sure to get a super comfortable couch and a large enough apartment that I could host other travelers as they come through San Francisco. I've been the first home base for several people making the move to our lovely city, and look forward to hosting more and helping people find their way to the best spots.
