About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to have fun and be free!

ABOUT ME

I'm also a vegetarian. I work in construction sometimes, and spend a good chunk of time volunteering at a local community bike shop.

I share a house with two other people, one of whom is also a couchsurfer. I try to garden, and sometimes I get a vegetables. I have a lot of interests and hobbies. I'm also a fairly experienced homebrewer too.

Otherwise, I'm pretty much just another average person.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm a vegetarian and an ironworker, I'm a lot of different things and resist being pigeon-holed or anything like that, and I try to avoid doing the same to people, and I really like people that defy easy categorization. I also like big words and the metric system.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I live in a wicked house with two vegetarian women.

We have a nice futon in our living room and lots of blankets. In a pinch we could sleep some folks on the floor if need be... we have thermarests and other assorted pads.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a nice pair of friends from Germany for a few nights, and ended up meeting up with them again when they crashed at my parent's place for a few days.

Teach, Learn, Share

I suppose I could show someone how to brew beer, but that takes a good 6 hours... and I don't brew often in the winter.

I know how to make a decent pie crust, so I could show you how to do that.

I'm learning to fix bikes, and like sharing rides with people. I'd be willing to show you what little I know.
