I am a young, energetic and friendly lady and I love meeting people and sharing stories to broaden my horizons and way of thinking. I was brought up to be polite and kind and have unconditional love for everyone and everything around me and I will continue to do so until they day I give my last breath.
I thrive on energy of other people and could spend every second of my day on the beach, hiking mountains or baking and cooking. You will never see me without a smile on my face unless I'm trying to find my keys in my over-sized handbag for the fifth time that day.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Basically just to meet people, share experiences and possibly introduce them to this beautiful country I am blessed enough to call home. There is something magical about South Africa, especially Cape Town and I would be honored to share that, and if I'm lucky I would meet someone from across the world during travels who feels the same way about their country and would like to return the favor.

Interests

I love nature and the energy I receive from it by doing exactly that- loving.
Hiking, running, walking and dancing are my ways of keeping fit and I could never get tired of doing either. I am very artistic and creative and I always surround myself with like-minded people who help me grow. I'm always listening to music, finding new music to listen to, moving to music, feeling music & making music.
Being Afrikaans and loving my culture goes hand in hand with loving taking care of people, making food, and having enough hands to offer help to those who need it - unconditionally.

Good music
My favorite music is where you can feel the artist's heart and soul in the song and have empathy without ever going through anything like that.
That said, my ultimate favorite genres of choice are Hip-Hop, R&B, Metal-Core, Melodic Death Metal, Alternative Rock, House & Bass, Kwaito, Trap, Witch Trap & Experimental Instrumental Hip-Hop

I love movies that are either way too stupid/weird to watch for any normal person or movies that will make you scream the people awake that live three blocks away. Movies that make you cry your eyes out are also watchable.
I basically like the extremes and when I can see that the producers and writers had a lot of fun with the script and the making of

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

New years moshing to some metal at Backstage in Munich until I punched a guy with a crazy red mohawk in the face by accident followed by trying to get to the train on top of the hill but falling in knee-high snow the whole time and then eventually partying in an underground German club dancing to Scooter and Rammstein until the first break of dawn hits 2015

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make some good food and I'm always willing to help out where I can.
I'm also very open-minded and I'm a great listener.
I know some of the best spots in SA for each of the different cultures we have here and would love to show tourist all of the different aspects of South Africa and everything we have to offer :)
