My name is Claudia, I'm 28 years old and I'm from Italy!
I left home when I was 19, I have lived and worked in Australia and New Zealand and I have travelled around Asia. Then I moved to the UK and started university in Bristol just after Covid.
I just came back from a study year abroad in Tokyo, and I also took the chance to do some more traveling in Asia!
Now I'm back in the UK, so I'm trying to travel around Europe as much as possible :)

I believe I'm a very sensitive person, I am very caring and compassionate hence why any kind of relationship that involves another person is extremely important to me.
I am not good at small talking. I don't talk just for the sake of talking, that's why sometimes people think that I'm a bit quiet. I think I simply need to be stimulated by what other people say, I like having deep conversations, or even if it's nothing deep I love to listen to people talking about something that they love or they're passionate about. I am happy when I can learn new things or simply be inspired by what someone says. I love when I can feel a connection with other like-minded people.
So far couchsurfing has been great for this :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have tried couchsurfing for the first time with a friend. It was a great experience that made our trip absolutely unforgettable. I have done it now already a few times and I think it just gets better each time :)

I like all different kinds of music, usually depending on my mood: I tend to prefer alternative rock music, although I enjoy and listen a lot to pop-electronic music as well. My all time favourite bands are Green Day, Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, Queen and ABBA is my go-to/comfort choice.

I don't read much, I wish I could do more, my favourite book is 1984.
I absolutely love the Harry Potter saga, I read the books again every couple of years.
Favourite movies are: Les Miserables, Singing in the rain (I love musicals), Shawshank Redemption and the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
I am really into tv series, I love Black mirror, It's always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office, Game of Thrones, Sherlock BBC and Lost.

I'm deeply in love with art and culture in general, mostly the Italian one which I absolutely adore, but I'm also very interested in learning about different countries'
I like talking about history and culture with other people who are interested in the topic :)

I also love cooking, I like to try new foods and recipes and I like to teach other people about Italian food and learn about different cuisines!
I make really good pasta if you want to try! ;)
