My name’s Claudia, I’m 18 (going on 19) and just finished school! Taking a gap-year right now before I start my carpenter/woodworking apprenticeship next year, so I basically want to do everything I never had the time for before. I’m living in France right now to actually get good at speaking the language, and want to travel a lot more over the next few months! I’m pretty easy-going and tolerant, curious about a whole bunch of things and always eager to learn more about other people, other cultures, other languages!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I travel solo a lot but don’t actually want to do everything alone, so I’m hoping to meet some cool, like minded people to hang out and have fun with (like hang out in cool spots, get coffee or go out for a drink)! Also I’m really bad at approaching strangers so having an app for that is right up my alley.

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite movies/series include (but aren’t limited to): Lost in Translation, The Royal Tenenbaums, She’s the Man, The Handmaiden, Avatar: The Last Airbender (not that godawful movie), Little Miss Sunshine, Baby Driver... My music taste is literally all over the place, but to name my current favorite artists: BROCKHAMPTON, Hayley Kiyoko, Post Malone, The 1975, Panic! At The Disco but I also really enjoy listening to jazz (went to a jazz bar in prague once which made that whole trip a whole lot better)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I’m pretty proud of the fact that I ran the StrongmanRun (a 24km outdoor obstacle run) - even though that was last year and I haven’t picked up my running shoes since.
