I'm a homeless spiritual wanderer since March 2016 and spend most of my time in Sri Lanka and India for meditation. Before I lived in Germany, for 12 years I was connected with a Buddhist community, lived and worked in that spiritual community in Germany and GB. Since I left Germany I feel most connected with the Theravada Buddhist tradition and found new spiritual friends on Sri Lanka and India. Before my spiritual life started with the age of 32, I was married for some time and worked as a mechanical engineer for a period of 10 years, I have no children and am therefore rather independent at the moment. Meditation is my life at the moment, I live in meditation centers and monasteries. I practice the five ethical precepts which are the foundation of a lay Buddha-Dhamma practitioner: Abstaining form killing and causing suffering to others - I'm vegetarian for that reason, not taking the not-given, abstaining from sexual misconduct - I live a celibate life, not lying and not taking any kind of intoxicants.
