One day, my friend tried to convince me that it could be quite fun if we went travelling and stayed at a random stranger's house. My reaction: "Are you crazy?!"

He patiently tried to reassure me that it was unlikely we would be killed or robbed.. (or anything else my imaginative mind could come up with). Eventually I agreed to try it out, albeit a little hesitantly, and I am so very glad that I did. We had the best time and met just the loveliest people!

I guess it wasn't so bad after all :)

To meet new and interesting people, and learn more about the big wide world. I don't have a place to offer at the moment unfortunately, but when I do start hosting, I hope to give back the same kindness and hospitality that others have offered me.
