Hi! I'm Claudia from Havana.
Originally I come from Santiago de Cuba, but now I live with my
family in Havana for almost 5 years.

My profession is musician -flutist-.
I studied on the University of arts and the conservatory Esteban Salas.
I used to make music with my sister Tania who plays the piano.
She also lives here with her husband, their 2 children and our mother.

Unfortunately nowadays we don't spent much
time with music, because we decided to put our effort to receive
guests in our new rooms we have created.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We realise that the idea of Couchsurfing is to
provide a free place to sleep, but unfortunately in Cuba there are restrictions to this. Every 'Casa familiar' has to
registrate the guests and pay a percentage to the government.
Besides that, the income is also necessary for our family.

However, the idea of couchsurfing attracts adventurous people and
that's why we like the website so much. Because we really like to
get to know interesting people from allover the world.
