My job as a social worker involves meeting new people almost every day. Human personalities and life stories are interesting, sometimes even fascinating and often very entertaining. Thus I am not getting tired of getting to know different people in my spare time, and I cherish the opportunities that Couchsurfing offers regarding the variety of possible encounters.

Music, Movies, and Books

As most people I enjoy listening to the music that was popular when I was a teenager / student in the Seventies & Eighties. Mainly Rock, Pop and Folk music. Today those songs are regarded as Oldies ;)
I like reading novels and watching movies with some depth regarding the plot, the characters and the historical background. As I love photography in general, good movies must have good pictures :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Studying abroad was definitely an impressive experience that I would not want to miss. Therefore I also encourage my children to travel to and / or study in different countries to broaden their personal horizons.
