Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The question should rather be: Why haven't I heard about Couchsurfing before? It would have made my trips a lot more fun probably. Meeting locals, learning about their culture, how they live, their language, their hospitality... Finally I signed up and since my goal in life is to travel the world, places I haven't been to yet, places I love, it is not yet too late. I cannot wait for my first CS experiences. I would love to meet like-minded people, travelers, crazy people, to not only share a home but their own stories.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Only one??? It is hard to pick only one...
Packing my backpack, entering a plane and starting my own little adventure for 4 1/2 months in South and Central America. It is amazing how much you can communicate with your hands, feet and just a big smile.
