About Me
At home in Singapore I love to go out with my friends to explore the hidden gems tucked in little corners of my tiny island, or head out to try out new activities, oftentimes heading to neighboring Malaysia for a day. I enjoy night cycling! And doing totally random stuff for fun 💪🏼🚴🏻♀️
Like all Singaporeans, I think I study too much and need to get out more ☹️ I've tried living in NZ, and I loved it to bits. ❤️ I'm thinking of trying the lifestyle in Sweden, Germany, and the States too, to see what fits the lifestyle I would like in the future :)
I really love hiking, sunrises/sunsets and other beautiful scenic places!
I've climbed: Mt Rinjani, Mt Ophir, Bukhan-san, Halla-san, Wolchul-san... and hopefully will be climbing more! :D
I swing between really chatty/deep in thought. A bit too crazy maybe? Hmm 🤔
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting people from places I've never been to! It gives me a little insight to the life and culture of these cities and countries that I yearn to experience for myself in the future 😌

Music, Movies, and Books
hmm.. books? 1984 was good! The Grimms fairytales fascinate me~ 🦋🖤💉
I adore Se7en, Pulp Fiction and Disney's Mulan!
Collateral Beauty, Rabbit-proof fence, Good Will hunting were cool :)
COLDPLAY! I went to their concert in Auckland, NZ, and I fell more in admiration with Chris's humility and genuine spirit than I thought I could a stranger. 😍😍😍
Of Monsters and Men :) Kodaline is nice.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went on a 7 month trip to New Zealand when I was 19 (I'm 22 now.) for a working holiday. One of the best decisions I made in my life. 😆
- I worked there for 5 months in Auckland (I love it soooo much there god) and backpacked the South Island with my good friend for 1 &1/2 months, camping all the way and travelling strictly by bus/hitchhiking (no driving at all!)
To all my fellow Kiwi lovers... :) this is what I did while backpacking! 😍
Went skydiving in Wanaka!! Whitewater rafting in Rangitata, 200m swing over Queenstown, mountain climbing to Mueller hut, 1800m (in Mt Cook), the Kepler track, The entire gorgeous Abel Tasman trek in 4 days (woohoo), Surfing around Pancake rocks, etc. 🏄🏻♀️
I thought I was pretty badass then (?) I hope I still am 😂
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach the basics of simplified Chinese, but my Chinese is nowhere on par with my English as of now, so I probably won't be able to do an in-depth advanced class of any sort!
I'm learning German now as I might potentially move there for my post-graduate studies :)
I can share loads of enthusiasm at random stuff and learning/doing new things hahaha - also, a bunch of experiences in New Zealand and Singapore! ☺️
What I Can Share with Hosts
My own experience with being a born and bred Singaporean, with a healthy mix of East-meets-West lifestyle :)
Also, a dose of very positive chatter and sarcasm 😁
