About Me

CURRENT MISSION

A techie/artsy/business texan girl wants to explore the outside of the Lone Star state. Seeking to meet highly creative, charismatic, and inspirational people from all over the world.

ABOUT ME

Claudia is... a highly charismatic, ambitious, open-minded, independent, unique, young woman from Texas. I'm a soon-to-be college graduate with a degree in Information Systems. During school, I worked in the Telecommunications and Web Development sector for three and two years, respectively. That was fun.

My parents inspired me to pursue anything I put my mind to, and yes, I do. I believe I can do that and so much more. For five years, I worked hard to put myself through school. Working two jobs and taking 15-21 hr semesters. That was my challenge. A month before graduation I'm posed with another life challenge.. This involves figuring out "What's next?" , "What do I want to be?" , "Where do I want to be?" I think leaving my texan bubble and getting a different perspective on life will help guide me in the right direction..

My father taught me how to maintenance my 2006 Ford Fusion SE but.... I don't know how to cook proper foods (aside from your chorizo with egg, spaghetti, and Mexican Rice). Optional: I would like to learn how to cook a plate of your choosing.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite book is The Great Gatsby. The last book I read and enjoyed reading was Steve Jobs' biography. Other books I feel I took a lot of insight from are: The Graduate, Anthem, Catch 22, A Whole New Mind, Things I Didn't Learn in Business School, and design/programming books.

Movies- Documentaries, Romantic Comedies or regular Comedies are my favorite movie genres. Some of my favorite movies include: Office Space, Zoolander, Austin Powers, Legally Blonde ( Sorry.. but I had to!) .

Music- I love all types of music. Some favorite bands/artists include: Coldplay, Arcade Fire,Taylor Swift, Metric, Britney Spears, and Julieta Venegas (lots more to list), 2en1 (Korean Pop), Nancy Arjam.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was interviewed once by Forbes Magazine in 2008.
