I love to travel and meet people from all over the globe! Am a very simple person and enjoy the little things in life.

I love life! Living a positive life is very important to me. I try to enjoy everything that I do and hope that others will too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

While traveling around Europe I've been participating by meeting CSers everywhere I go. By surfing and also meeting at a pub for a chat.

I'm also letting other people know about the CS project and sharing the great experiences I've had.

I've also hosted in the past and had a positive experience.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met a few Couchsurfers here in Albuquerque and would love to host if anyone is interested.

Interests

My interests are many. I really enjoy travel as I'm sure ALL of you do. I've not had the opportunity to travel much in the past but recently decided that it's time. Travel is definitely an addiction. My other interest is reading. I like to discuss books while surfing. If anyone can recommend a good read, please email me. I also really enjoy languages. I really only speak English and Spanish but have had a little bit of Portuguese and French. I'd like to learn so many more.

Love different cultures. Anything I can learn about another culture is very interesting. I like to experience a typical food or drink from your area.

Love hiking, rappelling, and movies. I'm really interested in expanding my foreign film list so if you can please recommend any great movies form your country I'd really appreciate it.

Music, Movies, and Books

My list of movies is quite extensive but here a few that I highly recommend: The Lives of Others, Water, City of God, Millions, The Green Mile, The Count of Monte Cristo, I Dreamed of Africa, Shawshank Redemption, Goodbye Solo, Ponyo, El Crimen Del Padre Amaro, Amores Perros, Donny Darko, Under the Same Moon, 9, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Pan's Labyrinth, Beyond Rangoon, City of Joy, Rabbit-Proof Fence, Sometimes in April, Babel and many more.

Some of my favorite books are: One Hundred Years of Solitude, One Hundred Secret Senses, A Child Called It, Legends of the Falls, The Good Women of China, Light in August, The Long Walk, Life of Pi, The Things They Carried, Things Fall Apart, any many more.

I like a lot of music, especially world music, but some of my favorites are: Al Green, The Temptations, Aventura, DLG, 10 Years, Bob Marley, Papa Roach, Kings of Leon, Seether, and more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Recently hiked at the Grand Canyon! Amazing experience, can't wait to do it again!!!

I love languages! I can speak English and Spanish but am learning French and Portuguese...I'd love to practice O_o
