About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Moving to Austin, TX, traveling frugally, and making some friends along the way.

ABOUT ME

Salut à tout! I'm an American student from Delaware. I have studied and lived in Delaware, France, and NYC and now I'm moving to Texas! Studying what, you ask? I was an art student and will be studying business via Excelsior College.

Some random facts about me:
-thrift shopping is in my top 5 fave things (music probably being #1),
-I love to sing (and do so fairly well, or so I've been told),
-I'm loud and obnoxious (haha I can't help it, always been this way, just have fun with it) when comfortable or intoxicated in some way,
-I used to be a terrible cook, but since turning vegan I'm actually getting pretty good,
-I'm an aries, and
-I'm kinda reckless.

Anything else you want to know? Just message me, I'd love to make some friends :D

PHILOSOPHY

I just try to keep an open mind. Anything can happen and that's terrifying and exciting at the same time.

NOTE: I smoke occasionally. If this is something you don't tolerate as a host, it is no problem for me to not smoke during my stay.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The couchsurfers I met in France literally made my trip. I will never forget Yan and Victor and I hope to have many more couchsurfing experiences, whether going to an event, hosting, surfing, or just meeting up.

This community is so big and bright and open and I just love it and everything that couchsurfing represents.

Music, Movies, and Books

This is by no means an exhaustive list: Kimbra, Chilly Gonzalez, Sam Smith, Beyonce, Jessie Ware, Solange, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Neutral Milk Hotel, pop, rock, country, r&b, and almost every other genre in between, the Breakfast Club, May, Piers Anthony, Tom Robbins, Cloudy with a Side of Meatballs (the book)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Climbed up and back from Vieux Lyon to Croix-Rousse twice in one night transporting three suitcases because I was too cheap/broke/late/foreign to get a taxi. This probably doesn't sound too impressive, but it took hours, was physically grueling, socially embarrassing, and most importantly I felt like a true champion when I was finally done.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: English, how to hold a tune. Learn: languages other than English, dancing, how to hold a tune
