Hey there, I´m an artist from Germany. I like being attached with art in any way: theatre, performing arts, painting, literature, photography...to name only a few.
I not only like going to exhibitions in museums or smaller art events. I think you can do and find art in many different places besides the conventional thought. Although I wouldn´t consider being cabalistic or esoteric, I like the nature and its spirits and calmness.
On the other hand I sometimes need the crowded life and surrounding of a big city. I like going out and having fun at parties as much as a night at the movietheatre or just getting together with people and cooking and drinking and chatting and laughing. The variety of both, nature and citylife, is what I like.
I like chatting serious about philosphy and political aspects as much as goofing around and beeing silly.
I don´t like self-centred, ignorant and corrupt people, who are more interested in money, capitalistic and economical interests instead of caring about humanity.
I'm also into swimming, and would love to learn surfing. But any kind of outdoor activity like tramping and cycling is awesome. That´s what I enjoyed during my 8 months world trip through Asia, NZ and Spain.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I said above, I´m very interested in different cultures. That´s why I love to travel and meeting new people with different point of views, different lifestyles and surroundings. Recently I visited India and South East Asia. I´d like to stay with locals because they know the place well and it would be a pleasure if you can show me a bit around and host me for a night or more. In return I´m a kind couchsurfer. Clean, Calm and open minded. I love to cook and experience new food, herbes, beverages from different parts in the world. So maybe we can cook together and share cultural diversities. And if you like, teach me your language. I'd love to pick up new words.

Interests

To experience new cultures and meeting different people does not only mean sharing recipies. I´m also interested in the art at the place where I stay, the music, litertaure and movieculture.
I like to go to the movies, but not so much the action Hollywood Blockbusters. More the Arthouse and not so well subsidised films. I like series as well. For example GIRLS is one of my favourite.
But mostly I like to be outside. Just sitting at a lake or a river alone or with a couple of friends. With beer or vine or lemonade. Doesn´t matter. I like picnics in a park or other nice places outside. Hiking and Bike tours are one of my favourite outdoor activities as well as swimming and being lazy in the sun.
I also like going to concerts. Photography, drawing, painting,.... actually all kind of artwork with different materials. I´m a bit into e-bass and guitar playing...but not so well with it.
