Overview
About Me
I am Claudia and I am currently living in Berlin. I enjoy traveling, meeting people from different countries and cultural backgrounds. Behind every new encounter I see the possibility to discover new perspectives. Even when staying in my own home and having guests it is a little bit like traveling. Life is an adventure, and every day there are new possibilities to enjoy these adventures.
Currently I am working in research on clinical neuroscience which is mostly computers and data. And of course brains. I have a natural curiosity about the human mind which drove me to study psychology in the first place. Aside from this work-related passion I love hiking, traveling, cycling, Yoga, and meditation. Brain/heart-wise I have a passion for photography and theater. If you wanna explore Berlin and hidden places in plain side through a lens I love to take you around!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Since work life is not that exciting and full-time traveling was not an option for me I want to meet people and have this brief encounter of sharing a little adventure together. Called hosting/being hosted. :-)
I am quite busy but don't hesitate to request me. Don't take it personally though if I don't respond immediately. Sometimes my deadlines at work are crazy and a request gets lost.
Interests
It' s pretty hard to give a shortcut about oneself. Take one moment at the time:
I think it is important to be aware of our influence on the environment and to take mindfully care of it.
I enjoy being outdoors, hanging out with friends, meeting new people. In summer enjoying open air concerts and this nice atmosphere.
And of course it can happen that I get lost with my camera on some detail or start dancing on the street. :-)
