ABOUT ME
I´m an open-minded, easygoing and ambitious person. I love to travel and to get to know people from all around the world. It´s soooooooooo interesting to meet new people and listen to their stories and experience. It´s important for me to broaden my horizon and to learn always new things. Learning is an endless story! ;)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Through couch surfing I try to get to know as much as possible from the local culture and mentality. In return I try to provide some insights into the German way of life. I also take part at couch surfing meetings during travelling as well as in the city where I live.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I surfed in quite a lot of countries around Europe. My experience are very positive and I met very interesting people who helped me to think outside the box.
Interests
I´m interested in getting a deeper insight into different cultures and mentalities. To travel is the perfect possibility to reach this aim.

Music, Movies, and Books
I prefer movies which let me start to think and have a deeper sense behind the story. There are lots of good books! The ones I enjoyed lately were written by Paulo Coelho (The Alchemist and The Witch of Portobello).
In general I would say that I´m quite open-minded and every time willing to experience something new. So there are no certain types of music, movies or books which I prefer the most. I give nearly everything at least a try!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer I worked on a farm in Scotland close to the Highlands. I stayed by a couple who I hadn´t known me before and I was just impressed by their hospitality and openness. I felt like being a part of the family. Thanks for this great experience!
This summer I stayed for some weeks in The Gambia to volunteer at local schools. The poverty of the majority of the inhabitants was just hard to cope with and something I had never come along with before. But I was and still am totally overwhelmed by the hospitality and happiness of these people. I think the Europeans can learn a lot from them concerning live a happy and relaxed life.
