About Me
As a kid, whenever I would visit a new city or country, I (almost) always left saying "I want to live here". And still today I find myself doing the same.
I grew up in an international family with a Dutch father and Italian/Peruvian mother. For the last five years I've been living in the Netherlands but I'm thinking of emigrating soon too. I have done my fair share of traveling but I am always looking for the next adventure. I love relaxing with a good book as much as I love a cold beer and a fun party.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Until recently I had never done couchsurfuing, not because I didn't want to but simply because the occasion never really presented itself. All of a sudden I found myself couchsurfing in India at an elephant farm in Jaipur with amazing hosts and other five cochsurfers. I immediately realized this is something for me, and it inspired me to also host fellow travellers in my city.
The best way of visiting a city is through the locals and it is so much more than just taking a few pictures at the main tourist attractions. It is building friendships, mixing cultures, and learning from each other. My first experience in Jaipur was amazing and it definitely won't be the last.
