About Me

Hay, I´m Claudia :)

Earthlings describe me as usually smiling to the world and pretty creative :D
A couchsurfing friend called me a sympathic girl who "stayed a child in heard" -hm, maybe that´s true ;)

So okay, what I really like is getting to know people, learning as much as I can about culture, language and good cooking :)
I´m studying spanish and theology at the University in Freiburg for becomming a hopefully nice teacher in future

I live here together with my boyfriend and best friend ever, Max - that's him: https://www.couchsurfing.com/people/maximilian-klinkert
We stay together in our cute flat and have a really good students time here together.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and getting perhaps some great new friends all over the world, because-
'Friends are the people in your life that make you laugh louder, smile brighter and live better’ :)

Interests

-meeting people, drinking tea or coffee together and talking about the world and the stuff beyond
- I love the spanish language and literature
- sometimes I go out watching modern theater with my boyfriend and flatmate Max.

So I'd consider myself a pretty social person who likes to have friends around and share life with other people.
And really like to have deep conversations on anything ;)

I like nature and have a lot of those green leavy things called plants on my balcony because I love gardening and care for them, because nature can fascinate and make one calm down.

My friends say I've a real fable for design cause I really like to sew crazy stuff or create designs for flyers and other things on the computer.
cooking with friends is also a really fantastic thing, such as dancing (salsa..., european dances like slow fox...) -´because it´s like flying over the floor :)

I would like to write much more, but unfortunately a spider-pig is blocking the textbox. -if you find it, please send it back in your request :D (I like people who at least look at profiles and help spider pigs finding their way home)

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC:
Generally I think fast paced major key music is just great- it makes me happy ♪ ♫
salsa and ska music, but also a lot of electronic music like deep house, electro, -swing..-that's what I prefere most :)

MOVIES:
Do you know "Drive" by Ryan Gosling?-It is such a great movie :D
In general I like movies with crazy ways of narracion are fantastic-such as fight club...
However, the gratest director of all times is without doubt stanley kubrick

BOOKS:
For university I have to read a lot of spanish literature, but my absloloute favourite so far is Don Quijote. (Actually, that one is great, especially once you figure ot why)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Max and me once went to Beijing and it was totally amazing: Everything was not even compareable to European cities and it really gave me new perspectives on the world. For instance, we went up on a hill next to forbidden city and we could see thousands of skyscrapers all the way to the horizon in every single direction. It was impressive, beautiful, but also somehow frightening and creepy...-this city with no ends

Furthermore, we did a three- week couchsurfing tour in spain and were really amazed by the peoples hospitality and their wills to share their lifes with us. I think people are actually the most amazing thing you can experience.

Ah-and this morning, I had a really really amazing müsli :D
