About Me
Ciao belli!
My name is Claudia and I live in Milan. I'm a Vanity Fair journalist and a Travel Journalist for the British International Travel Trade Gazette and for the Italian TTGItalia too. I contribute on different italian newspapers as Vero, VeroTV, Stop and IlSussidiario.net - and I'm a food and travel blogger too (www.claudiacabrini.com - Podere Madonnina by Claudia Cabrini on Facebook. C'mon, check it out!). Really proud of it because it was my dream since I was a baby! Whoa! Yoga girl, gipsy soul.
Graduated student of the International University of Languages and Media IULM of Milan focused on Communication, Advertising and Media.
I really love to travel and I'm working hard for my next solo backpacking adventure all around USA and then India too (any suggestion's more than welcome! ❤️) Outgoing friendly girl, open-minded, and I really would like to travel all around the world enjoying experiences, meeting new people and locals of course.
Basically my philosophy is that you just have to be curious and never give up on your dreams because nothing is impossible.
Because of my job I usually travel all around Europe and around Italy everyday too, so should be unfortunately difficult to host you but feel free to write me at any time anyway, and if I'll be in Milano or wherever, I'll be more than happy to meet or host you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is one of the best way to meet new people from all over the world and to travel even if you're at home. Sharing stories could be amazing. Ohuch sorry... IT IS! Right?
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE:
Surfed on Florence, Paris and Dublin, at the moment - Usually booking Hostels
Interests
Stepping out of my comfort zone, traveling, drama, movies, music, swimming, reading, writing, playing the piano, running, volunteering, art, camping, rock climbing and so much more.
I pretty like everything and I think that you should try whatever you haven't done yet. I just wanna live exploring the world learning as much as possible.
Music, Movies, and Books
My favorite Italian directors are Paolo Sorrentino and Gabriele Salvatores, Federico Fellini and Dino Risi. I usually listen every kind of music.
My favorite book ever is "Amlet" by Shakespeare.
I watch too many movies to know which one is my favorite at the moment.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Rock climbing in Dublin, Ireland
Camel ride acrossing desert in Morocco
Rent a boat in Greece, 2 days on the sea, far from everyone. AMAZING.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm a pretty good cook so I can teach you how to cook Italian food! Would love to learn everything you would like to share with me.
