Hello fellow couch surfers.

Currently, we can host people who have their own transportation, and absolutely do not smoke. We can always host campers that leave no trace behind and have your own gear. We offer warm showers to bicyclists. We have a beautiful garden setting! We ask that you please clean up after yourself before you leave.

I started traveling in my 20s but got stuck in the United States for the following 30 years. I grew up in Italy, which is a beautiful and friendly country, if you do not mind the fact that bureaucracy is a nightmare and people smoke like chimneys. ;-)

I travel with my husband. He is 100% Mexicano and a fun guy.

We may be boring people to some: we cannot stand smoking and are not party people/loud music lovers. Husband speaks mostly Spanish and makes up interesting worlds and dialogues in English. He is a great cook and in constant great mood. We don't drink alcohol or do drugs. I am excessively vegetarian and almost vegan, but I love pizza and chocolate!

I have been a licensed psychotherapist for....too many decades.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My biggest achievement has been: going to Greece to help the Middle Eastern refugees. Life-changing. I was so inspired by the experience and how humble they are that I wrote a book about it. Imagine that, losing half of your family and everything you own to war and running for your life!

We are so privileged. I will never forget that. I am so grateful for everything and everyone in my life.

Husband has achieved enlightenment, I think. He is very content and has no fears, stresses, or resentments. Maybe he can teach the rest of us?

Teach, Learn, Share

We can probably teach you some Italian or Mexican dishes, as long as you don't mind them being mostly vegetarian. I do not eat any meat or fish.

I can cook some mean vegetarian/raw/healthy food, and husband is an excellent cook if you like Mexican food. Que Bueno!

We can speak to you in Italian, English, or Spanish.

I know an bit about organic gardening/garden design, and am obsessed with sustainability.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Our sense of wonder, positive energy, gratitude, and friendship.

We will help you keep your house clean, your dogs walked, your plants pampered, and your garden nice during our stay.
