About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Before dying, I would like to understand how the world is going on, but I prefer learning what simple people has to say than reading difficult books

ABOUT ME

I had 2 husbands and I have 3 children (adults now).
Now I have friends in the whole world. I have time to do what I like, for example, I make several trips per year with my Bicycle. I like traveling alone, or with only one close friend.
I'm very kind, but I don't like to be annoyed. And I'm easily annoyed....
Don't take me too much seriously, I'm kidding almost all the time. Sometimes not. I make best friends of the ones who can tell the difference (they are not many ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

- I love humanity not for what it is, but for what it would want to be

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I often travel alone, but in the evening I feel lonely in impersonal hotels. I prefer to see people and to share my experience with them. My niece told me about couchsurfing....

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's amazing!
I've made real friends and I never had bad experiences (well, 5 years later, I'd say "almost never").
Of course, I've a private life, and I'm not available all the time. But even if I can't host, I always answer
I know I'll never get bored: even when I'll turn to old to travel by myself, I'll be able to meet other travelers and share experience with them.

Interests

-experience exchange (about everything, may be recipes for pancakes or philosophic discussions)
-to discover other way of thinking, if they are no stupid (I'm kidding!)

- 2016: Belgium - North Cape along the cost with my bike (cheating a bit with boats and buses)

Teach, Learn, Share

I actually don't have very special knowledge but I can share a lot of small things:
I like to share cooking recipes
I can show or explain how to make good marmalade, how to knit a pullover...
I like to discuss about gardening
I can show beautiful bicycles rides
I have several good addresses in Cuba and in some places in the world

I would like to learn salsa
...and Arabic and Chinese and Japanese, in another life ;-)
