Hello, I am Claudia from Switzerland with a background in civil engineering, communications and alpine tourism. I am also an outdoor person with experience in alpine farming: milking and herding goats makes me happy, as does being under a vast sky up on a mountain.
I believe in learning and achieving things by working together and by meeting people beyond my personal bubble.

2023 was a year on the road for me. I am a "slow traveller" which means that I spent the first half of 2023 in one country - in Lebanon. I have volunteered for one month in a hostel in Beirut, then in a school for the kids of Syrian refugees in Bar Elias, Beqaa, at the Arz Tannourine Cedar reserve and then at a farm in Lassa.

From August to December 2023 I have been travelling and volunteering on the Faroe Islands and in Iceland. After this year of traveling I am back home and am looking forward to hosting people from all over the world.
