Hello! I'm Claudia, 31, from North of Italy.
I am passionate about foreign languages, scuba diving and travelling.
Right now I am in Playa Blanca, on Lanzarote (Canary islands) and I am working as a PADI Divemaster in a scuba diving school!
I have lived in some lovely places that now are stuck in my heart! Paros island (where I worked as an English and French teacher), UK (as a Teacher and Activity Leader), Cambodia (where I spent 4 months as a volunteer English teacher in a NGO), Rhodes island (working in a scuba diving school) ... awesome experiences!
I am a patient and positive person and I have an optimistic attitude. I am friendly and lively and I like to enjoy the most I can of the places that I visit. I am curious and enthusiastic at learning more and broadening my knowledge and perspectives with new experiences and new subjects as well.
I love scuba diving, swimming and skiing. I love the sea and wandering around places in order to live and discover them.
I love children and playing with them. I like drawing and decorating.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people from different cultures and traditions and to learn about other cultures, traditions, stories and languages. I like to immerse in other cultures and experience a country and its daily life from the inside.

Interests

Too many! Definitely! And I am open to discover new ones every day!
Music: I like listening to all kinds of music, in particular ska, punk, reggae, rock, pop, alternative rock, classical, soul, r'n'b, etc.
Movies: I like to enjoy all different kind of movies an TV series.
Books: travel books, self-help and motivational books, adventure books, fantasy, thriller, comics and manga.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydiving, skiing and hiking on the Alps, danced sirtaki music in Greece so many times (I fell in love with it), scuba diving, playing in a rugby team, a fjord safari in Norway, teaching as a volunteer for poor children in a NGO in Cambodia. And I was also interviewed by the national TV in Cambodia!
