Overview
About Me
I’m 25 and recently graduated with a degree in primary education. I haven’t started working as a teacher yet, and I’m volunteering at a church for a couple of years right now :)
I grew up in Germany and currently mostly live in England. I love to travel, be outdoors, try new sports, go hiking, meet new people or old friends, read a good book, go camping, ...
I don’t really like to party, I’m more of a casual beer by the beach drinker ;) but I’m always up for board games or movie night, playing a game of volleyball (although I’m rubbish at it) or having a bbq!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My sister first told me about Couchsurfing. She’s stayed with, travelled with and hosted people form all over the world and she’s told me about some great experiences. So now I really want to try it out for myself, I think it’s a great way to meet new people, to get to know a place better, and also to travel cheaply.. because I’m working as a volunteer at the moment, I don’t really have any ,ones to spare - but this makes it possible to still travel a bit!
Interests
I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. Given the option I will grab a good book and hike somewhere in the countryside until I can find a nice spot to hang up my hammock and spend the rest of the day relaxing with either a story or a friend. If the location is rural and/or particularly beautiful I might stop to get out my camera and take some photos.

Music, Movies, and Books
I don’t really listen to music much, but anything goes.
I love to read, any kind of book really - from romance to science fiction.. same with movies. I don’t really watch a lot of movies though, because I’m usually out and about, but every now and then I enjoy a good thriller (not horror ;) )! When I’m back home my sister also makes me watch chick flicks...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I spent the summer in Canada last year, where I learnt to water ski! Ok maybe it’s not the most amazing /impressive thing ever - but it was fun ;)
