About Me

Hello, beautiful souls!

Are you thinking of visiting Valencia? My house is your house.

If you are interested in reggae music, in spiritual life, yoga, meditation, renewal of yourself, alternative therapies, nutrition ... Different lifestyles, and especially if you have an open mind, come and visit me! Let's grow together!

RASTA / HIPPIE PEOPLE & PEOPLE WHO PLAY MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS ARE ESPECIALLY WELCOME. (I'm learning to play the guitar, I need inspiration)

Our house is located 2 minutes from the Malva-Rosa beach, an excellent place to have a relaxed and deep experience of what Valencia is. In the apartment we live two people, both a little crazy, and we have a great friendship, besides wanting to meet interesting people with an open mind.
We can offer you our sofa bed, which is in the middle of our living room.

We can cook together, I can show you Spanish cuisine dishes, and I also have a lot of experience in vegan and vegetarian cooking. I am very open also to learn typical things of your country.

If you decide to stay with us, I will show you the concerts of reggae, cumbia, african music, funk, hip hop, that we find on our way! But please, NO PARTY ANIMALS, we are quiet people who enjoy live music drinking some beers, and sharing. We have no interests in drugs that are not natural. We can also look for alternative events of a more political topics, with talks on current issues, vegan meals ... etc

About me, I am a psychologist, I am currently studying transpersonal psychology that is a mixture between Buddhism and western psychology, and I am very interested in spiritual issues and personal growth.
Last year I traveled a lot, from South America to Southeast Asia, and I was using the workaway platform to work in different centers of alternative therapies.

I am learning to play the guitar, and I am a person who loves music, especially reggae, I am a rasta woman!

One of my objectives in life is to live in a healthy and sustainable way, with less necessities, and that's because I plan to keep travelling; seeing new places, learning about cultures, learning languages, exchanging and conecting with people...

My goal with Couchsurfing is to meet people related to me, with interests that inspire me and make me question my way of seeing life, as well as it seems to me the most beautiful way to continue traveling, although right now it is settled in one place.

That's why I'm going to give the best of me so that your stay is AMAZING. Refrain copy pastes, and people who believe that my house is a hotel. This is to meet interesting people and make new friends. To find out if you have taken the trouble to read my full profile please write the words happie hippie on your application and I will know that you are a person of confidence.

See you soon!
Namasté!

Music, Movies, and Books

As a good dread woman the music that moves me most is reggae, in all its versions, roots, dancehall, dub,...My favorite artist is obviously the king Bob Marley, but also Buju Banton, Alpha Blondy, Naaman, Ranging Fyah, Skarra Mucci, Barrington Levy....I also love Ska, Rocksteady and Hip Hop, Folk music, country, rock ... I really love all kinds of music.

For books, I am a great reader, I read a lot on psychological topics, also on Buddhism and spirituality "Who am I" "The Freedom of being", but I also love reading more social books like Erich Fromm, "Fear of Freedom", "Have or Be", I also love Eduardo Galeano , his books "365 days", or the "Open veins of latin america", and of Spanish writers, I can not go without mentioning Ruiz Zafón with "The cementery of forgotten books", who was one of the most important writer for me when I was a child.

Among my favorite movies Blow, Now or Never, Captain Fantastic, Django,.,

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am participating in several volunteer projects with marginalised groups, my favourite one is when I went to Dominican Republic, just on the border with Haiti, where I have done a literacy project, working as a volunteer to empower women and kids by teaching them to read and write. This trip have change my perception of life, it make me open my eyes, make me know what is the most important thing in life... LIVE THE PRESENT MOMENT AND BEING HAPPY WITH LESS
