Backpacking around the world, not planning my trips too much and enjoy the unexpected.

ABOUT ME
I love art, nature, animals, and sharing a laugh. I currently live on a small island east of Canada, where I am devoting my time in composing music, playing the piano, the guitar, singing and walking in nature. I have that crazy dream to eventually make a living with my music, and inspire and help people as I do so. I am very open minded and respect others and their opinions. I have had the opportunity to travel a lot to various countries and it looks like I'm traveling to a new country every year. I like simplicity, and I can be a bit of a comedian at times.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I am planning on traveling more in the coming years, Couchsurfing is a great option to connect with locals, and travel like a real traveler. Enjoying the experience!

Interests

I am a composer, instrumentalist and vocalist. I love to play piano, guitar, bodhran, Irish tin whistle, mandolin, and a bit of accordion and ukulele. I also do some Irish tap dancing. I'm fascinated about pretty much everything related to arts, and I also like to do crafts and draw. I love walking and exploring nature a lot (and taking pictures of it too). I know how to do both toss juggling and contact juggling.

Traditional Irish Music! And any traditional music from around the world. I like to discover new genres.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I left with a foldable guitar, a small Duffel bag, and no plans, to end up on a 6 months journey through Iceland, Ireland, Scotland, Sweden, Italy, Greece, Wales, England and France just to be back in Ireland a few months later for one of their biggest music festival.
In the past I have also back-packed through Portugal, Tunisia.

One amazing thing I've also experienced was when a large school orchestra in France performed one of my composition in May 2016 and I was there to witness it.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think that we have always the opportunity to learn something. Either by our own experience, or by listening to stories from others.
To accept the fact that we don't know something is the first step in learning.

I can teach music, juggling and all those things that I taught myself over the years. I like to try new things, discover new places, learn new language, discover new food etc...

What I Can Share with Hosts

Music, singing, teach you a bit of French or English, juggling, sharing some laughs.

I cannot host at the moment as I'm already staying with other people.
