My name is Cláudio, I´m from a small village of Portugal, and I´ve been on this beautiful planet for 31 years.
The past 8 years I was lucky to be living my wildest dreams, and to visit places, meet people I´ve never imagined, and with travelling, with the people I met along the way, I changed, I grew, both emotionally, personally and spiritually, to the person I am now, still full of dreams, and with a more rich view of the world, of people, of life, of our nature.
Traveling has brought me incredible friends, unforgetable memories, and a beautiful life ☀️
Because of travelling I decided to go back to study, and become a social worker, I decided to become vegan and much more aware of the world we live in and the animals around us, I also became a deep spiritual person and much more happy and a peaceful human being ☯️
I consider myself calm, quiet, relaxed, respectful, a good listener and passionate about people and their stories, and I love to have deep conversations about life, humanity, the universe, spirituality, religion, traveling, etc!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Fundamentally more than having a place to stay and a place to receive guests, is to connect and meet people from all over the world, to learn, to share, to grow, to connect, to be human at the most deepest level! That's simply pure education, that’s how we can also change the world to a better place, through respect and learn from our differences, through growth, through sharing!
I love the idea of “A friend is just a stranger you haven’t met yet”, and what better way than couchsurfing to experience that :)
I look forward also to get to know a different place through your eye´s, your culture & traditions, the social environment, the people, their stories and way of living. I love to learn new things about life, about the world, about communities, about people, about traditions, about culture, about life!
The world is better through connection with others, through understanding that in the end we're all the same, humans, souls, a universal unity!
I truly care about this community and the people in it 🫂

The fundamental idea of couchsurfing for me is this, to share, to teach, to learn, from the people we meet and connect. More than a warm meal and a bed, the essence is to meet different people and by sharing & learning, become a better person, and than share again, impact the world around you, by learning & sharing! We have an immense power in our hands if we open ourselves to what life is offering us, be kind, share and be happy ☀️

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my stories, my experiences, my beliefs, my time and my energy ☀️ I can share with you what once was shared with me, life experiences, knowledge, opportunities, my culture, my traditions, my perceptions of the world, laughs, good times, good conversations. And I will happily cook for you some vegan dishes, we can meditate together and help you out at home if needed :)
If it happens the case of refusing non-vegan food is not to cause you harm or upset you, being vegan is either part of my life as to my core values, I’m sorry upfront that we won’t be able to share local dishes together, but I’m always in for a meal together or a cup of tea :)
