Hey everybody! I'm Claudio, I come from a small town near lake Como, in northern Italy. I have just recently joined couchsurfing, and I hope to start traveling soon and to try out this experience. I study Medicine and Surgery in Monza (Italy). I have traveled a lot with my family and friends, now I'd like to try something new and get out of my comfort zone.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to try out this different way of traveling. I want to meet local people, make new friends, discover the true face of the places that I visit. Traveling is a way of learning and growing up.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love rock music, indie, rap and hip hop. I love discovering new stuff. I also enjoy cinema, my favorite films are those directed by Christopher Nolan and Quentin Tarantino. the books that have taught me the most are "due di due" and "il deserto dei tartari". I love the Harry Potter books and movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have volunteered as a rescuer, riding in ambulances and offering first aid to people in need.
I have been an Exchange student for a month in Ecuador, doing rotation in a hospital and being hosted by a host family there. It has been the greatest experience in my life, I have met so many beautiful people, I have been received in such an incredible and amazing way, that I want to give it all back to the people of the world.
This world is filled with such beautiful and amazing people; so many stories to tell and listen.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am passionate about many topics, including space exploration, language, psicology, medicine, biology... my favorite thing is to sit down and have a good conversation with friends, discussing philosophical topics and telling jokes.
I love cooking and I know how to make some classic Italian dishes. I enjoy learning how to cook new food and sharing it with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my thoughts, views and stories. I would love to meet people who are not only willing to open their doors to me, but also their ideas and experiences. To me, traveling is all about the people you meet, much more than the places you see. Also, FOOD!!
