About Me

ABOUT ME

Hi everyone,
I'm Claudio, currently living and working in St Albans (UK), but eager to travel and maybe to live around the world until I find a very good reason to settle in somewhere. In the meantime, as everyone I try to keep busy with books, some sports, some concerts, small trips when I can, volunteering and trying to move my friends from their couches to travel (often unsuccesfully...)

PHILOSOPHY

Do whatever makes you happy. Be respectful to others, be responsible to the environment. do your own little piece of goood wherever you are, those little pieces of good together can overwhelm the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm always available when I'm not at work for a walk around town or for a drink

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Avila (hosted) and wonderful CS meetings in Madrid and Milan! Hosted in Milan, now I do not have space anymore unfortunately :(

Interests

I don't like to stay at home, even in the city where I'm living. I like to go around and visit it, I like to discover it and live with the locals... when in a city, I like history, architecture, large and famous but also small local museums and local dishes & traditions. I like as well skiing & hiking in the mountains and snorkeling when i'm at the beach... well, did I mention I like to travel? :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Road trip around Australia and New Zealand, I've been to deserts and rainforests, coral reef and snowy mountains. I've been swimming with whale sharks, hiking in beautiful mountains, I've been skydiving, scuba diving and snorkeling in a coral reef, then bungee jumping and rafting... well, that was a good trip.
Some more amazing (and way more relaxed) thing I've seen are the Hurtigruten in Norway, midnight sun in North Cape, volcanoes in Iceland, New Zealand and Sicily, Italian cities and their history and buildings (Venice over all), the Alps and the Mont Blanc.
The trip to Georgia in Sprin 2014 has been amazing.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Denmark, France, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Spain, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In
