我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
I love meeting new people, exchanging ideas, and learning about cultures different from my own. Couchsurfing allows me to connect with travelers from all over the world, share meaningful conversations, and offer a welcoming space in my home.
As a psychotherapist and former professor, I enjoy discussing deep topics, from philosophy and psychology to history and spirituality. I appreciate open-minded, thoughtful discussions where different perspectives can be shared with mutual respect.
Hosting also gives me the chance to show others the beauty of Valdivia and its surroundings. When time allows, I enjoy being a guide, exploring the city together, or simply sharing a good meal and engaging conversations at home.
For me, Couchsurfing is not just about offering a place to stay—it’s about cultural exchange, human connection, and shared experiences. If you’re open to meaningful conversations and a relaxed, respectful environment, I’d be happy to host you.

音乐、电影和书籍
I enjoy all kinds of music, especially rap and nü metal. My favorite books are Arthur Conan Doyle’s novels about Sherlock Holmes. I love watching dystopian science fiction movies and series.
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
I’ve been hit by a car twice. I’ve lived in Temuco, Pitrufquén, Iquique (for four years), Concepción (for four years), Santiago (for one year), Angol (for half a year), and now I’ve been living in Valdivia for five years. I worked for the Investigative Police (PDI) as a Forensic Psychologist.
At a very young age, I had to take on the role of Chief Director of high-complexity programs for the National Child Protection Service, leading large teams of psychologists and social workers. I hold two master’s degrees, four postgraduate specializations, and four diplomas in psychotherapy, legal psychology, and philosophy.
Beyond my professional experience, I have a deep passion for both science and philosophy. I studied photography at the Institute of Arts of Chile and pursued philosophy at various universities, with a special focus on the philosophy of mind. I also completed postgraduate studies in the philosophy of science to better understand the nature of knowledge.
Since childhood, I’ve had several paranormal experiences that have convinced me of the existence of the spiritual world. I continuously seek to reconcile this belief with my scientific perspective.
I practiced Kendo for several years in Temuco and even founded a Kendo club at my university. Additionally, I taught myself web development and personally built the website for my psychological center.
On a personal level, I was diagnosed with ADHD, which has shaped the way I learn and approach life. I also went through a severe depression in my youth, which I was able to overcome thanks to God. This experience has become a fundamental part of my testimony and serves as a valuable resource in my work with patients.
Something that often surprises people is my experience with Couchsurfing. One guest ended up staying at my house for two years and is now my best friend, while others have also stayed for months, making my home a place of cultural exchange and meaningful connections.
教,学,和分享
I can teach photography, philosophy/psychology, and shogi (Japanese chess) at a basic level. I would like to improve my spoken English, learn how to cook, and play the drums, guitar, or bass. I would also like to learn programming skills.

• Autonomy: Guests handle their own food and expenses. I enjoy cooking together if planned in advance.
• Clear Dates: I don’t host indefinitely. I need to know your departure date.
