ABOUT ME

Fun and serious, dreamer and realistic... I like stay in company and chat with friends; at the same time I am extremely discreet (perhaps too much) and I like to be alone. I like to meet foreign people and from various cultures and I really love to speak different languages (I would like to learn everything!).
I have a big tenacity in working, when I am busy... nothing can stop myself! I'm an artist. Photography, videoart and installations are my main fields and I've been working in theater as scenographic sculptor for many years, this is very stimulating to me; I've also taught Art, design and Computer graphic in various schools, but, unfortunately, I don't really like so much this job because I prefer to "make my hands dirty" into practics activities.
Anyway, working more or working less, when I can... I like to travel! my dream!! I just can't stay still, I always need to look around to find motivating forces and new energies for my artistic research and for life. My favourite destinations are usually places or events of artistic interest, as great cities and important art exhibitions but also some lost villages (what beautiful pictures!)...
However I often travel alone, as I haven't found the perfect fellow traveller yet: it isn't easy to find somebody with the same interests or rythms. Yes I know sometimes I'm not completely normal: I could wonder around and walk for twelve hours without getting tired or I could stop staring at a colour for one hour or spend three hours, on a sidewalk, writing thoughts on endless notebooks...
you know, those are contemporary artists...!

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love taking photographs, going to art exhibitions, to the cinema and I like to read.
My favourite movies are "The faboulous world of Amelie" and "Me and you and everybody we know" perhaps because I feel that those women are similar to me, dreamers in a real world.
Among directors I like Peter Greenaway at first, and Lars Von Trier, Krzysztof Kieslowsky, Tim Burton, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Toni Servillo, Emanuele Crialese...
Among my favourite writers, I put at the first places Fernando Pessoa, Jose Saramago, Milan Kundera, Italo Calvino, Daniel Pennac (ready to fall in love with others...)
and among the contemporary artists I would say Bill Viola, Louise Bourgeois, Sophie Calle, Marina Abramovich, Gino De Dominicis, Andres Serrano, Dan Graham... ugh! too many!
About music, everyday I change my favourite playlist, at the moment I prefer listening radio... or the silence (I have to think!)
