ABOUT ME

It's easy for me to be fascinated by people and it's easy for me to be geeky about lots of aspects of life, so I often find myself in the midst of some adventure or another, whether it's in the low-key and pedestrian days or in those filled with new excitement.

I'm from Minnesota, the heartland that always draws me back in, but I have a peregrine nature that keeps me moving, in the meantime.

I can generally offer a room and a welcome to people traveling through. If possible, I'd love to hang out and meet new people.

I've hosted and surfed, and loved both.

Oh, I'm interested in lots of things. I start to get passionate about one thing, and on the way I'm distracted by something new that intrigues me. And it keeps going, and I guess that's the only way I know how to move through life; by following the distractions that interest me.
I like reading and writing and music a whole bunch. I love to create things, so I knit. I'm always happy when I'm baking. I'm interested in community development and in languages and cultures.

I'm always wanting to learn, so share whatever suits you! This leads to me having scattered (but positive!) things to share, myself. I feel like everything I have to teach, I also have a lot to learn about, but I can teach you a little bit about whatever cultures build into my experience. I can teach ya a little about nature, about baking, about photography and music and coffee and crafting.
