Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travelled just some days after Christmas with Ricardo to Paris where we met excellent people who helped us there. We couched in their homes and met others just for dinner. I highly recommend trying CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had somehow a similar experience when I was in Marakesh. Two friends and I were in Marakesh staying in a hostel, it´s not expensive at all, so there was no problem, the issue was that after Marakesh we were going to London and had no reservation. We were looking through CS and found nothing. Suddenly one night we met some nice people as we had dinner in a restaurant. Then it resulted that this couple lived in London and were in Marakesh just for vacations and because of their religion. They ended offering their couch in London to us. So it was incredible to meet them and to learn from their culture. They were excellent and took us to visit every important place in London. We were quite surprised with their sharing spirit.

Recently I used CS and it was great! First I had dinner with Vincent before coming back to Paris (cause I went to Bordeaux). When I came back to Paris, I reached Ricardo and we were hosted by Caro and Anais a couple of nights. We had fun hanging out and cooking mexican food. We also met another Anais and her boyfriend to share a mexican plate. Finally Hundi received us in his home with his family. We learned about aviation with him. =D Thanks to all of them our vacations through Paris were quite funny and unforgettable.
