Hello, my name is Clay! I love being outside in the outdoors, exploring new places and taking lots of cool pictures along the way! I grew up in Oregon and have spent years seeing all it has to offer but now I am ready to see what else is out there! I love listening to music, sharing stories, connecting with people and working on all sorts of projects with my friends.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am looking forward to using couch surfing as a way to experience the local people and culture of the areas that I am traveling through. I think it will be a great way to connect with people, hear their stories and get the inside scoop on all of the cool things to do and see in the area.

Interests

I love being outside, hiking, camping and sharing nature with my friends. I am an avid photographer so you usually won't see me without my camera and tripod in hand, I love capturing the world through media and sharing it with the world. I also thoroughly enjoy making videos and telling stories through different media, I have several video projects planned out throughout my travels and I am sure many more opportunities will arise during my adventures.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love music! I will listen to any type of music that someone shows to me, I believe that there is something beautiful in every song so when I listen to new music I try to pick it apart and peel back all of the layers to discover how the song is composed, the instruments in it and the emotions that went into the creation of the song.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to teach people new things, I am a very patient person so sitting down with people and helping them learn new things is a very rewarding experience for me. I love working with cameras, photography, film and electronics so I can help people learn anything in those areas. I also love being outside for hiking, camping and adventuring so I can share any tips and tricks I've learned along the way.

One of my favorite things to do is to talk to people who are passionate about something and listening to them tell me everything about it. It is very cool to meet people who like to share what they are working on and I will ask a million questions about it even if I have never experienced their activity.
