About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To just have fun and live an exciting life.

ABOUT ME

I really enjoy learning about other people's lives and passions. Even what I usually consider a boring subject turns into something very interesting if that someone is passionate about it.

I also turn into a big geek when the conversation topic becomes computers, science, electronics, chemistry, brewing, and art.

PHILOSOPHY

I think life is full of surprises, experiences, and delights. Enjoy it to the fullest!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am settling my life in Chattanooga. Hopefully soon I'll be able to restart couchsurfing and hosting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I started couchsurfing back in Japan. A friend and I went to a dance club in a town in Japan after the town's big annual festival. Due to the festival the hotels were all booked. We asked around if we could crash somewhere and found a place. While staying in the person's apartment, we learned about this incredible community.

Interests

Ultimate Frisbee, cooking/cuisine, , general geek-stuff, indie rock, electronic dance music, homebrewing, chemistry, and industrial technology. You know ... the normal interesting things in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite Movie: Amelie
Music: Indie Rock and Electronic Dance Music. Though sometimes I feel like Jazz, Irish Punk, Hip Hop, or Bluegrass.
Favorite Book: The last one I read or the one I'm currently reading. The Hunger Games series is a close 2nd.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I traveled Japan alone for a month in the summer of 2007. I have survived moshpits, ziplined through a rain forest, swam with sharks and sea turtles, and drank liquor that had a viper soaking in it. And that's just the beginning.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to discuss what I know and am passionate about. I also love listening to other's passions.

Countries I’ve Visited

Germany, Italy, Japan

Countries I’ve Lived In
