About Me

Growing up in a small town in the middle of Missouri, USA, I've constantly had the urge to escape and explore new places. Fortunately, I have the opportunity to travel for work, but leisure travel is more enjoyable (yet more expensive). Recently relocated to Norfolk, Virginia after living in Southern California for 4 years. I am new to the east coast and excited to explore. I'm an extrovert, love people interaction and making people laugh. What better way to make new friends than couchsurfing?

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living is Learning. Not only do I love networking, but to really experience the culture of a new city, you have to hang with the locals. Of course I intend to return the favor and host surfers in my town, too. I'm new to CS and looking to meet fellow CS host/travelers to gain experience.

Interests

The short answer: food, wine, & laughter

The long(er) answer: There's nothing more therapeutic than cooking a homemade meal and hosting friends for a night of making memories. When I'm not inside (eating or Googling new countries to visit) I love taking advantage of the outdoors: hiking, running, paddle boarding, road trips, exploring National Parks, concerts, music/food festivals. Weekend trips to random cities to visit old friends, or going home for a college football game or toasted ravioli.

I'm such a people person; hopefully you like to talk. Love striking up conversation and making new friends. At minimum we can share a laugh and a bottle of wine.
