Overview
About Me
I am a 36 year old living in Austin, Texas. For my main job I work for a company that hosts coaching/wellness retreats. My creative passions are standup comedy and writing. I love meeting people from all walks of life and traveling. I am an open book and avid learner. I love exploring, being active, playing sports, and working to be a better version of myself each day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To hopefully travel, see parts of the country that I have not seen, and get to know people from different backgrounds. I feel like you learn the most about yourself, and the world around you, when you encounter people from different walks of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I oscillate between self-help/personal growth books and fantasy novels. Some of my favorites all time are “How To Do The Work”, “Untamed”, “The Way Of The Peaceful Warrior” and “A Lion Trackers Guide To Life”.
For music, I pretty much listen to everything. I have playlists dedicated to specific emotions. I love dancing and sunny days driving with the windows down.
For movies, I tend to watch anything other than horror films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Here are 3:
1. I went Sky Diving out in Las Vegas from the second plane I ever rode in. Whatever nerves I had were quickly replaced when I found out that Taylor Swift had done it at the same place a few months earlier. If she can do it, I am more than likely capable as well.
2. Class 5 White Water Rafting in Maine. Went with a group of friends and decided to man up and try to "ride the bull" through the most aggressive Class 5 rapid on the tour. No one had ever successfully done it, I am proud to say the pictures we taken seconds before being violently flung into the water. I loved every second of it.
3. Fallen in love. It may sound corny but there is nothing that has happened to me in my life since that has taught me more about myself.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’m open to learn any and everything.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Things I can share: how to tell a joke, how to identify patterns of behavior in yourself, random facts about Italian Wine, facts about almost any sport (I coached previously at multiple levels).
I enjoy deep conversations and telling random stories about life.
