Overview
About Me
I study neuroscience in New York City. I might be from the metropolis but I grew up in a small town in the Southwest United States. For the next three months (Jan. - March. 2016) I'll be backpacking through Mexico: working on farms, studying sustainable living, writing a novel. I speak basic Spanish but by the end of my trip I hope to be fluent. I'm excited to meet new people and exchange new ideas!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm new to couchsurfing but I've heard amazing things about it from my friends. I'm excited to connect with new people and really discover the culture of new places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I found neurons in the brain that respond to eye-contact! I'm excited to talk about neuroscience, the science of emotions and social behavior, nature and life in general. I'm eager to learn, ready to listen, and excited to hear new stories and perspecitves on life.
