ABOUT ME

I am pursuing a life in Integrative Medicine so that I can be a greater conduit in the journey of self discovery and healing. I love playing outside, riding bikes, yoga and cooking. Grew up in an a small Arkansas farming community; attended college and medical school in Arkansas as well. Lived in Haiti for two years doing international development work following the 2010 earthquake. Then lived in the beautiful "Vacationland" known as Maine for 3 years during my Family Medicine Residency training and Kansas City for a year during my Integrative Medicine Fellowship. Live with my wife and best friend, Jeanie in scruffy and funky Knoxville, Tennessee. We happily live in an awesome 300 square tiny house on the edge of the South Knox trail system.

I am on Couchsurfing to meet fellow free spirits like myself and too enhance the traveling experience.

Interests

Love spending time outside (climbing mountains, biking, trail running, etc...) and really enjoy intellectual metaphysical conversations. Also love cooking and experiencing yoga, dancing, music, etc...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding on 2 cross country bicycle tours (from LA -> South Carolina and from Arkansas to Maine) were amazingly epic experiences. Recently just rode the San Juan Hut to Hut 7 day MTN Bike Tour from Durango to Moab! That was Epic.
Living in the mountains of Haiti for two years and running a medical clinic and building a school was a life changing experience.
