Hello!

My name is Clay and traveling is my greatest passion in life. I love hiking, going camping, rock climbing, backpacking, and anything else that involved adventure.

I've had many cool travel experiences recently including being able to study in a palace in Dalkeith Scotland (basically a suburb of Edinburgh), partying with locals at Oktoberfest, CSing for eight days in Ireland, Wales, & England, as well as solo backpacking Nicaragua for my senior research project.

I'm a clean house guest who is relaxed and friendly and I'm always ready for the next hole-in-the-wall cafe, city walk, or bar.

I love travel and one of the reasons that I love travel is because of the incredible people that I get to meet on the road. What better way than through Couchsurfing?

Interests

My favorite activities tend to be centered on simple things such as reading, cooking, or making a fantastic cup of coffee (i'm somewhat of a connoisseur).

Overall, I love being active and learning new things. I'm not typically one who is too keen on sitting down.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I'm into a mix of music, but my favorite genres are singer-songwriter, indie, and pop.

Movies: Any good comedy or action film serves me pretty well.

Book: I'm quite the book worm. My focus tends to center around non-fiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the best things I've ever experienced is catching over 30 events at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. That festival is a riot. It's three weeks of shows at 500 venues in the city. The put out around 50,000 performances in those three weeks.
