I am an open, cheerful, nature-loving creature. I am up for chats about anything - including local waste-water treatment processes, your favourite book, most favourite hike, best recipes etc. I am a vegetarian, but I am not grossed out by meat. I love the outdoors and am willing to try almost anything.
Any place near Mountains and The Ocean is where I call home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking to meet people and experience new things. Hopefully within the next month I will be able to accept couchsurfing passing through my area, if there are any!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in some amazing places around New Zealand, and I have many friends who have had nothing short of amazing stories to tell of their couch-hopping adventures in Mexico and across Europe.
I have the utmost respect for this global community!

Interests

Cooking, swimming/biking/running (triathlons, really), music (I appreciate some good electro-beats!), keeping the earth clean and promoting sustainability, longboarding and wild fermentation!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Witnessed humpback whales migrating down from Alaska for the summer. It sure was something when they came flying out of the water, tail-fins and all, to come crashing down in an amazing display of raw power!!
I was also chased out of the water while surfing by a territorial sea lion in New Zealand.
