Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I joined Couchsurfing on June-2016 when travelling with my girlfriend to run the half-marathon in Florianópolis, Brazil. Because so many people had come to town for the race, most of the accomodation available had been booked already, so I thought Couchsurfing would be an option to consider, specially if I could find someone who would also run the race, which, believe me, I did!
I have to admit I wasn't so certain about it in the beginning but my first experience was way beyond expectation! Feel free to check it out in my reference section where there's more detail about it.
