ABOUT ME

I love theater, I love to have my nose stuck in a book, I watch way too much tv, but I have a TiVo to help keep it under control. I love to dance, as much as possible. I've been lucky enough to see a lot of the US, trying to slowly see more of the world. Hopefully making a trip soon somewhere in Southeast Asia.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new, so I'm still figuring out exactly how I participate.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I moved back to Chicago from Los Angeles and friend was kind enough to let me AND my roommate couch surf for a month. It made getting back on my feet possible and was an amazing act of kindness. However a month with four people in a one bedroom apartment was quite a test of being kind to the humans around you. I am forever grateful to him.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to light a show in the ancient theater in Argos, Greece. I got to be a part of a show in a theater that Agamemnon once sat in, in a place where theater was born.

And on my 30th birthday, I jumped out of a plane!

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a stage lighitng designer and electrician so I can teach you lots about lighitng, wiring and power. I'm trying to teach my self Greek, you can learn with me! I know a decent amount about black and white photography that I'm happy to pass on as well.
