About Me
Hi everybody!
It is said that your actions define you.
A word about myself: I'm obviously interested in nature, sometimes a funny guy, honest (or too bad to lie, maybe that's why I'm bad at 'Werewolf'?), a social type, hobbit size, I like company, but I am sometimes slightly shy. And I'm absolutely curious about the long distance hiking.
From February 2018 I'm heading from Austria towards the North Cape in Norway on foot on the E1 (European long distance path). Usually I'm sleeping outside in a tent, but sometimes it might be great to have a dry place to sleep at, get to know new people and have some company.
Because I'm walking I can't tell you exactly when I'll arrive, please be flexible, don't worry about me and stick to your plans, you don't have to wait for my arrival, I've got time.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While travelling I like to meet new people. From all the journeys the people are the most lasting memories.
It's always great to have some exchange of memories, stories, ideas, ...
Well, and on my current journey? There are of course hotels and stuff, but on the one hand i can't or I don't want afford them, and on the other hand there are much more personal benefits in couchsurfing. In a hotel I feel isolated, it's rather unlike that you meet new people (but that depends also on the person) but in total it's not the way I used to travel.
At couchsufing you are forced to meet your host or new people (unless you are not interested in). And because I need some activities, it is more likely to get these while leaving my comfort zone and meet some strangers.
