About Me

I'm Clemens, I've been growing up in Berlin where I studied electrical engineering. After having finished my studies I moved to switzerland (more or less by accident) and quickly felt at home.
My spare time is filled up with all you can imagine: Sports (fencing, swimming, dancing) doing improv theatre and, of course, travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I tried couchsurfing for the first time during my US trip in 2019 and had a blast doing it! I met plenty of cool people and definetly want to keep that vibe going for my travels to come.
Also I like low budget travelling, because it makes for the best stories :)

Of course I'm also more than happy to show you arround my hood in Zürich, eventhough I myself only moved here 1,5 years ago!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Probably the best vacation I had was my trip to Mallorca with two friends from university.
We got the cheapest rental-bikes we could find, and quickly realized that the AirBnB we had booked was arround 20km away from the airport - so we had to ride all that way on a beautiful evening, running over a highway and reaching our destination completly smashed.
The rest of the trip involved beautiful landscapes as well as climbing adventures and a near death experience while trying to reach a Deep-water-solo spot in the south west of the island.
So, while our initial intention was to party all day and all night, we ended up enjoying nature and had the probably best vacation (up to this point).
