Overview
About Me
I grew up in Regensburg in Bavaria (Germany). Here I was implanted with a deep love for good bavarian beer. Even though I tried local brews all over the world I have not found it matched. ... yet.
I finished my A levels in 2013 and then went to live in Nagpur (India) for 9 month. There I did a little teaching, a little learning Hindi and a lot of traveling around.
After returning to Germany and being shocked how slow the traffic lights change here, I started studying Cognitive Science in Osnabrück in 2014. But studying in one place all the time is boring, so I went to Nottingham and Oxford to do some airy-fairy research in neuroscience. Also I worked for a bit in a startup that deals with bankruptcy cases, which is a whole different world for itself.
Also I am clean and tidy. So do not worry about me leaving a mess.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
There is a german expression "Der Weg ist das Ziel", which roughly translates to: "the journey is the reward".
All the churches, museums and other sights are mere waypoints. On the way there I had the truly best experiences. Meeting people, making new friends and learning how to make chai.
Couchsurfing proved to be a great way, to get that started.
