About Me

I am a French filmmaker / photographer living in Germany with my beautiful wife and my two awesome kiddos: 4 months old boy and 2 years old daughter. Together with my wife, we directed and produced a documentary film "The Condor And The Eagle" who is finally finished and ready to be delivered to the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since our work is 100% independent - I am on a tight budget and in a position to appeal to the generosity of people like y'all to give me a hand with lodging while I am on the road across North America. I will take part in 20+ film festivals/community screenings and events from September to December 2019 and would highly appreciate the help from those who have a spare room, a couch to crash on - or even a cat or dog sitting gig. I will be in NY in September (Global Climate Strike - photo essay work), USA in October (13 festivals including - Santa Cruz, Indianapolis, San Diego, Hot Springs, NY, Orlando, Ojai, etc.) - in Canada in November (BC and Alberta) and in Chile in December. Let's connect and maybe meet up along the way across the continent.

For those interested in communication and in Environmental / Climate Justice work - here is our film short synopsis:

"Four Indigenous environmental leaders embark on an extraordinary trans-continental adventure from the Canadian plains to deep into the heart of the Amazonian jungle to unite the peoples of North and South America and deepen the meaning of “Climate Justice”. The Condor and The Eagle documentary offers a glimpse into a developing spiritual renaissance as the film four protagonists learn from each other’s long legacy of resistance to colonialism and its extractive economy. Their path through the jungle takes them on an unexpectedly challenging and liberating journey, which will forever change their attachment to the Earth and one another".
