Overview
About Me
I have been teaching English in a highschool in the suburbs of Paris for 3 years now. I love to travel on my own when I have the time!
My summer trip this year will be with Interrail, the train being my favorite means of transport! I plan to visit many European countries, especially in Eastern Europe! I can't wait to meet lots of new people from there!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think it is the most authentic way to truly learn about a country, a culture and a way of life. Getting up close to hosts and sharing is an essential part of traveling, if not the best!
Music, Movies, and Books
I prefer musics from the 1980s and 1990s!
I like films which make you think of our existence and our perception of life, such as the Truman Show!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
A few years ago, I was stuck in Moscow airport for 19 hours because I had forgotten to apply for a visa to get out of the airport and I met a young man from Vietnam who was in the same situation as me. We chatted about everything and at one point, without warning me, he played the French anthem on his ukulele, which was so unexpected because I didn't know that the Vietnamese knew the French national anthem... ! A wonderful moment that only happens in desperate situations like this... and which make the most random and unexpected situations become the most enriching moments in life.
